Surprise

It appears that someone, possibly Husk, has nominated The Smoking Section for a Canadian Blog Award for Best Personal Blog.  I am amused by this, and under no illusion that I have even a remote chance of winning.  That’s all right: I’m “niche.” 

Nevertheless, if you would like to cast a vote for me or for someone else, you may do so here.  The voting period runs from today until January 21^st, at which point the contest will proceed to finals. 

On a related note, it’s occurred to me that the Anthology could use an update, and since I’m presently up to my eyeballs in grant application I invite your suggestions for posts to include in the 2007 highlights reel.  If memory serves, there weren’t many.
