Parc petition

An online petition is cicrculating to reverse the city’s decision to rename Avenue du Parc, which was made with no public consultation. Of course you should sign it, if only to encourage municipal politicians to do more worthwhile things with their time.

    And regardless of your political orientations on the matter, the fact remains that Robert Bourassa is largely responsible for pushing the feds to bring in the army during the October Crisis. Besides, aren’t there enough memorializations of obscure politicians yet…

    Sorry, old crochety Montrealer mode just came on…I still fucking call it Dorchester every once in a while. But Parc…what’s wrong with Parc? Simple, neutral and descriptive…what more do you want from a street name?
