wow indeed. on an optimistic note, just imagine how wonderful the world is going to seem when thst imbecile and his evil friends are out of the white house.

  • zura says:

Oh I agree on Carloman’s optimistic note. The next presidency will be a breath of free, fresh air. It has to be.

  • Frank says:

Boy, that just makes me so proud (note: sarcasm). Not only because he did (is doing) it, but that nobody put (is putting) up much of a fight to stop him.

    Go Obama.

  • Martin says:

Ce film est à voir absolument.

  • Am reminded of the Shakespeare quote: “All the world’s a stage…” We are either passive observers of the “dance of death”, or we act. Offerings like this undermine action by channeling anger. This is a strategy. From the perspective of a historian (or an elephant…) this all seems like “old news”. Sorry, lots of “danger quotes” in this comment. Maybe even those are a surrogate to real, honest, visceral F-ing revolution. God…Someone programmed me. Time to re-route the wiring…

  • Vila H. says:

Carloman, Zura, and Frank: I hope there is reason to be optimistic. So far, I haven’t been terribly impressed with any of the Democratic contenders’ statements about Iraq, and I wonder if any of them really have a good grasp of the situation. Still, anything’s got to be better than this.

Martin: Do you know, is the film going to be screened in Montreal anytime soon? I didn’t see any Canadian dates listed on the website, but I’m hoping some will turn up.

Sparky: Well, until the revolution comes–any minute now, I hear–I’ll accept the director’s justification for making the film: “In mid-2005, after learning that no major documentary covering U.S. policy in Iraq was being made or was planned, he formed Representational Pictures and began production of ‘No End In Sight.’” I know you don’t personally care for political scientists, but you’ll concede that this one’s made himself useful at least.
